What is it with purple this year?

I had to go to Ellensburg, and wasn't about to waste gas by not fishing, so I took the pontoon to Fiorito. Had a purple palstic worm (I'm not sure what brand, but 7" and swirl tailed) and a purple plug (older Big-O), after trying some of my go to lures, and caught 6 bass. Mostly "keepers" (ie under 12"), but 2 were 15" and 19" each. Not a lot of bass in this lake, so all were C&R. Fun for about 2.5 hours!

Every once in a while I get tempted to not hit the shift button when indicating inches, just to see if anyone notices. Haven't... yet.
