Hit the lake late in the morning--fished from 10:30- until 4:00 or so. Fishing was good but inconsistent. Once we found the depth--22 to 27 feet-- it was a matter of putting in the time. Water temp was 53-55 degrees; weather was sunny with a light, occasional breeze.
We took two limits of fish from 9-ish to 12-ish and caught maybe seven or eight rainbows on top of the kokes. We used either a KoneZone UV flasher or on a lark a five-inch Shoehorn (Luhr Jensen) spoon rigged as a flasher. We caught fish on Mack's Lure Squidders, KoneZone Squidder Duns and, as a surpise, Lindy's new spinner.
With the beautiful weather and good fishing, it was a great day!
