Went to Lost Lake to check out the boat launch. Plan to put the porta-bote in, maybe on Thursday.
My wife and I fished from shore from about 1:00 to 2:30, next to the boat launch, using just bobber and worm. Caught three small rainbows, about 9 -10 inches each and three small mouth bass about the same size, plus a few we hooked, but didn't land.
All released. Two fly fisherman were also fishing from shore and one boat on the lake. Nobody seemed to catch anything of size. Water temperature (in the shallows by the shoreline) was 62.
The day was warm, the sun shining, and a few fish biting. A very pleasant little lake.
