Well, took my wife to the bog, she likes the park. It was lightly raining, and that was okay. Tried for carp and bass. For carp I was just using a bobber and worms, for bass I was using FNF baits.

For the FNF baits I had one small follow from a blue gill. I got snagged on a log, and was very upset about losing one of the four baits, but managed to pull the log closer to shore, wade out up to my knee with one foot, in the stinky ichy mud while my wife protested, and got the lure back.

I did get one carpy bite on the bobber, it picked up the worm and ran with it for about ten feet, but didn't take the bobber under, I set the hook but it didn't stick.

One fish jumped while we were there, but it was a carp. I'm comin for the bass later!

I saw a big one in it last year, but it wouldn't take anything I threw at it. A big bass that is. Some of the kids that I've run into have caught bass from it. All I've caught from it is pumkinseeds. So far. My wife likes the park, so we'll be back.
