Arrived at 6:00 A.M., rigged 2 poles for action. Lined up 4 lb. test line to small red and yellow bobber with 5 feet of line to only a # 10 worm hook( very sharp). Baited a 1/2 night crawler at a time with a little dangaling. Starting at the first bench on the board walk I landed 2 tiger trout and 5 bluegill. The tiger trout were 1lb on the scale good fighters. The bite went away so I moved down the bank just past the far tree on a small point. There is a deep drop off on the point there bunching up the trout. Fishing 15 feet out I caught my limit of brookies and tigers combined all in the 2lb. range from 16 to 24 inches long. I saw everyone using swivles and weights up close to there hooks with bobbers, also 1/4 oz weights on bottom rigging. Trout can feel the pull and spit out the bait. Trout at this laketake bait that is light on the touch. As I say just a bobber and the hook, the worm will add weight for casting and worms sink by them- selves. I released all fish except for a 16 and 24 incher that I couldnt revive. Sorry no photos yet I hve them I just need to find out how to place them.
