We took a few minutes to hit up Dry Falls. This lake is a selective gear fishery, and no motors of any kind are allowed. There is also not a ton of bank access, but we found a spot just before sun down for a few casts. Dry Falls is easily one of the most beautiful lakes in Washington. First photo is from the observation deck at the top...simply amazing. Photo 2 is from the top of one of the cliffs near the entrance. I climbed up top to take it all in. Again...amazing. Now on to the fishing report! We were only able to fish for ten or fifteen minutes but my buddy Ryan was able to get a fish to hit on his spoon before we left. Fish spit the barbless hook right at the shore, but looked to be a nice fish in the 15-18 inch range. There is not a more beautiful or peaceful place to fish...and the absence of even electric motors makes it even better. Check this place out if you have the time, especially any fly fisherman out there.
