Drove out too “Deep” lake early this afternoon. Arrived at a empty dock at 4:00. This lake is very close to my soul. As a kid my best friend and I would ride our bikes to fish this lake. We always caught fish. some trout but mass amount of panfish.

Casted out my two lines and the bite was fast…. One hooked, That was nice!

Sitting back looking where I grew up a young fisherman…… “WOW” has this lake changed? The weeds are still all the same……. And the “Dock” is the same width I remember…..

Was looking for a TRIP.. did not happen…..

Still rate it as a “4” was a great time talking with others….Limited in just under two…cocktails….. a very good time
