Looked like a perfect time to catch some bass with a slight breeze, weeds not full emerged, water temp 55-58, no one on the lake. Mt Baker and the Twin Sisters were gleaming in all their glory to the east. But alas after throwing crank baits, floating minnows, senkos, flukes... for 2.5 hours, nary a nibble and only a couple of swirls of spooked fish for my effort. I manage to get skunked 3 our of 4 on this lake but the scenary is spectacular!
