My first report. Great E. Washington day out of the Bellevue rain. Fished Upper Goose on Sat to avoid the crowds. Picked up a few on a variety of lures but by no means "hot'. I like this lake cuz the power bait crowd can't fish it very well. Not much shoreline. Fish are 12-14 in. I heard bigger but thats not what I saw. Bite died by 11:00.
We had a couple 14 year olds with us and they wanted more action so we went to Warden for more planter action. It was a great day in the sun and fishing was good. No size. 10-11 in trout. I've seen worse sizing but not by much. This was my first time there. Sunday crowd was down from Sat. or gas prices kept people away...it wasn't that crowded. Stayed at MarDon. I like the new trailers "cottages" Ha. but too expensive.
