We had a good two days of fishing, not to many people on the lake the sun was out and very little wind. The fishing was action was hot in the morning and late afternoon. Most fish were planters but did get one nice hold over. My friend who moved to Washington about a year ago told me he has never had such a good time and seen fishing as good as we had.

Nice holdover for sure. We were there for opening weekend seeing it is only a half hour drive from my house. Between three of us we were one shy of all of us limiting out, but we would have if we would have landed all the fish we hooked or missed the bite on. It was weird though seeing so few people out for the opener it is normally packed. Again great catch.

Were you staying at lairs cove? Nice fish. We just found that lake last summer.
