Decided it was time to get my newly remolded 12' aluminum boat out on the lake yesterday. Headed over to the Boathouse and caught a little piglet of a trout. Just over a pound but still was great to get the first one on the boat. Had a few bites and saw a lot of surfaces, but it's early in the season so I'm sure to get on a few more.

Cool stuff! I bet that trout you caught there was one of the boathouse releases. The boathouse is a great places to fish until about late may because lots of those trout never leave that area once released. Almost guaranteed fish! I catch real chunks fishing with a slip bobber and nightcrawler right off that dock there. Tight lines!

Thanks mav, it's been a two month process on the boat. I'm getting ready to test out small outboards for it soon.

You need to focus on catchin some of them tasty kokanees in that lake, people are doing pretty good right now
