Well this post is a little late i didnt bring my camera and been waitin all week for my buddy to email the pics, and still waitin... Anyways hit sammamish last saturday with my buddy,we fished from 9 to 3,trolled spoons (needle fish ,meps spoon).fished around the weather station in about 70 to 90 feet of water,10 to 20 feet down on the lead line. Did pretty good ended up landing 12 and missing and losing a bunch more. no relly monsters just the average 14-24in.Did land a few that were down river fish real skinny and long. the bigger ones had patential of being 2-3 lb ,still nothing in any of their bellys, only thing i found in 1 was a pumkin colored power grub. All the fish are still on surface pretty much got a few before lead line was even in the water.I watched almost everyone trolling with down riggers and not doing to well.not sure why use down riggers when fish are 10-15ft down.Im pretty sure using lead line works better when fishing shallow gets line way farther behind boat, and cutts are spooky fish especially when they on surface. We had bites probly every 15 mins or so pretty much all day. Anyways its still good at Sammamish and just had to put a report in before the weekend for everybody.Tight lines will probly bee on washington this weekend to try and get some fatter fish my smoker has been full latly, one big ones allways better than 10 half ass ones.
