Moved over to St. Clair to try to get out of the wind that I encountered at Chambers. I swear that place is centered in a vortex or wind tunnel or something, lol.

Started fishing around 1:30 or so. Had some problems with the wind, but pretty much kept moving to the leeward sides of things to avoid it the best that we could.

At 6:00 p.m. caught our one and only fish, a fiesty little 1 pound 13 ounce, scarred up largemouth on a blue and black jig and a Netbait Paca Chunk trailer in green pumpkin.

Quit fishing at 6:30.

Water surface temperatures ranged from 50-54 with 53 being the most common, it seemed.

Man you get after it! I wish I got out as much as you. Did you get a new boat?

I did. Read my Steilacoom report, I responded to your response. I click your name here thinking it will take me to PM but it does not. I shall e-mail you.

Nice to hear the temp at Clair is up. That lake, being so deep and surrounded by steep shorelines does not seem to heat up quickly. Should be some big sows moving up about now in there. I guess I better get out there soon. I know exactly what you mean about Chambers being a windy spot. It is in Chambers Prairie you know.
