My brother and I made the 2hr drive to Silver Lake on friday, Got to the launch at 8am started fishing around 8:15 from the launch Water Temp. was 48*.. made some moves around the lake hooked into this 3-lbs 10oz largemouth at around 11am the water temp was 49* at that time,.. This fish was caught on a Black/Blue Jig w/ a Berkely blk/blue flake chigger craw trailer.... Had a blast on the water.. Fish was C/R.. our day ended at 3:30pm the water temp was 54* at that time..

Water looks pretty stained still...were the fish still holding pretty tight to the brush?

@ Aaidian, The fish was caught where the grass-line met a wooden wall tight to the shoreline...

Water clarity there is about 9", water is in bad shape. The state is going to be doing some tests the next 2 yrs on the lake. More info should be showing up on the WDFW site.
Nice fish, that would of won you money at saturday's tournament.
