Spent a cold, windy day at the Scoot banging whistler jigs with plastics and worms off the bottom. Tried all over the lake and picked up a solitary 12 inch walleye at the head of the canal south of the park. Finally got frustrated enough to start shooting groundhogs. Other anglers were also struggling. Water temp was 52, so it may be awhile before things get rolling.
