Headed out to Evergreen on a very cold and extremely windy afternoon.. Fished only for about 2 hours, marked a few fish, but no bites.. The wind was hell on my 16 ft aluminum boat and made fishing very hard.. Wasted trip.. First trip to this place and judging by these other reports, will probably be my last..

Evergreen (used to live nearby) is a tough nut to crack, but has some decent bass fishing at times. Trouble is, when the bassin' is good, the yellowjackets are bad!. I've had nice stringers of bass, walleye and panfish there, but it isn't real consistent. Not a lake to fish in bad weather. Good luck on your next venture.

Yeah, after reading the reports I found out that it was "decent" at best. Too many other promising LMB and walleye lakes in that area to waste a whole lot of time on that one.. At least when the water temp is 46 degrees and the wind is howling... Thanks for commenting
