This spring has shaped up as one the best panfish fishing trips in my recent memory. The only downer has been the trash people leave behind. Some folks haven't done as well as others, but I have found that by tweaking my presentation, float depth and jig color and paying attention to detail I have been able to score consistantly on crappie and jumbo perch like pictured below. Well done and thanks for the report. Looking at the photos,it looks like those perch are eating very well. Very plump.

those perch are full of eggs.should have let them spawn.

Yellow Perch were an illegally introduced species on some of the ponds the WDFW prefers that anglers remove as many perch as possible so that they don't over populate lakes that are maintained primarily as stocked trout waters. That saves the need for an expensive rotenone rehab down the road..Jiggy

Lots of trash around the Yakima, Selah,Zillah areas when i go fishing over there. Hmmmm, wonder why?
