Out to Liberty for 11-3pm. Tons of boats on the water tough to launch with the dock still not in the water. Water temp was 40 degrees when we got there and got to a balmy 44 by 3pm. Tried just about everything---jigs, worms, spinnerbaits, crank baits, chatterbaits, swim baits, kitchen sinks! Nothing not even a bite. Fished the bays and weed edges, points and rocky ledges. Marked a few fish on rock piles but just tight lipped fish I guess. Talked to about a dozen boats and no one caught anything. Saw a boat as we pulled out about 3pm with a trout that looked decent but seemed like a tough day for all. Give it a few weeks of warmer weather and I think it will pick up. All in all a nice day on the water and the boat performed great after winterizing at Spokane Valley Marine those guys are awesome!!

Stay safe and tight lines,
EB

Are you interested in a new fishing partner? I just moved back to Spokane and would like to find a fishing partner with a boat. I had to sell mine and will not be able to buy one until next year. I know from the past that Elokia is good to fish this ealy in the season. Send me an email if interested. kdeife@live.com

There was some talk last year about getting a 'fishing partner' list going for this area last year. I havent looked to see if anything ever became of the talk.
