Andy took Ron Marsh and his boy out. The plunked a couple of "bigs" off the Bar on Chelan. Andy thought the kid would have more fun with fast action on Roses, so they trailered up, launched and fought the last of the Roses ice for lots of little Roses rainbows. The fish did not plump up much over the winter, but they are very eager biters.

The boy had fun and Andy had his first Roses day of the year. Roostertail lites were very effective as well as bead head muddlers with an action disk by wiggle fin in front. What a memorable day!

What a great time of the year to fish!

Are you trolling close to shore? What depth water?

From the surface to 12 feet deep over a bottom of 23 to 25 feet. The fish circulate.
