This is a report for Mayfield Lake March 12th 2010. hit the water around 10 am. Fished till 1:30 p. m. got soaked. Lake was said to be blown out. Stayed on the south end of the lake. Tolling with Buchers, Believers and Rapalas. Water was a milky green color. Was fishable. Lots of big floaters around so watch out for the trees. Water temp was 41 degrees. Trolled the breaklines. Stayed in or around 30 ft or so. Marked fish from the surface down to 50 ft. Marked some big fish around and in front of the dam.Couldnt get a fish in the net today which was expected. Just good to get on the water. Burnt up some bad gas..got pretty soaked. No fish caught. A friend of mine has a cabin on the lake and one of his friends did hook up with a Tiger from his dock. About a 3 footer. On trout gear with a rooster tail and lost him at the dock. tough!
