Be careful out there, Washington is big water and can get messy in a hurry just like the salt! Thanks for the report!

Too bad about the weather interfering with your catching, good to hear you made it back ok though.

The lake was baiting you to come back! I had some relatives come visi awhile back. They like to fish. Water looked a little rough from the boat ramp at Magnison. Looked to be 2 to 3 foot with white caps. Forecast was not for windy conditions. We set out anyway. Water was waaay rougher than it appeared from on land. We were in 4 and 5 footers in short order. Heavy spray hitting the windshield on a regular basis. Had to keep the bow up to minimize amount of water coming over it and smooth the ride. Wind was out of the South and I was headed for 520, to use as a wind break. It was calm along 520. But the out of State relative was soaked when we arrived. Later, the sun came out, wind died down, relative eventually dried out. Caught some fish for them to take home. Your not kidding about big water on Lake WA. Can get angry out there.
