Started out on Eliot bay trying for one last coho of the year. Got pounded by an early morning storm. Released one shaker and LDR'd a very nice Coho. (Running motor, fighting fish, trying to net fish in rough seas is my excuse)
Swung by home to pick up the anchor I forgot and had lunch with my wife, then down to the lake to launch at Rainier Beach. Nothing at Coulon or Coleman Point, so I motored north to the E.Channel Bridge and started picking up nice 9-14" perch. Dropped anchor and fished the rest of the afternoon, ended up with all I wanted to clean. Fishing two roadrunner jigs (white and chartreuse) each tipped with a chunk of worm left over from the previous weekend's walleye/duck hunting trip to P.Holes.
Lk WA is amazing. I have had so much fun there this summer "harvesting" perch and smallmouth. Can't wait until next summer!
