Brief report for brief outing: Went to Myron to try out a recently repaired reel (winter survival) with no intention of catching anything. Well, the reel worked fine, as did my patriotic jig (red, white and blue). I caught 2 brood stackers, one 18" and one 21". The 18 fought well, but the 21 was hilarious! It lead like a well trained pony or dog. Wherever I tugged, it gently followed. Even unhooking the barbless hook, it submitted and lazily swam off. City fish! (No pix, didn't bring camera for a reel test).
