Saturday was better earlier than later. Many many small perch to cull through but with patience was able to ice 9 keepers, at least 7 inches. With one being 10.5 inches and another right at 9, bonus fish for sure. Ice was a good 10 inches with snow on top to an inch or two. Fished from Jerry's Landing and went north a couple hundred yards to some water that Aaron42ash, he just bought a Vexilar flasher, tells me is about 12-14 feet deep. Invited a co-worker out and she had fun catching so many fish. She took home a mess of 6-7 inch for a dinner. Interesting in teaching someone how to set the hook on such light biting fish, she got the idea to tease them into biting and holding on all the way to the surface as many were not hooked. Cleaver girl, she did a greatjob for a rookie.
