Melanie and i thought we'd have a little window between raindrops for a much needed fishing trip, tough fishing, I was skunked but melanie caught two, this being the larger. 3.5 lbs. after bleeding, we found that trout lose about a ounce per lb. after bleeding out , so this one was close to 4, but shy 'bout a 1/4 lb. Nice female, full of eggs, not long out of the hatchery, will cure the eggs as they were nice skeins. Put up a great fight on Mel's little Loomis, made a couple of determined runs for the anchor line, but she managed to turn her "round and we put her in the net.Cold rain drove us out but a quick run back to the launch was all that was left.Bob R
