My son and I were on the water right about high noon. The first bite was like 1/2 hr after we had our gear in the water. We ran the same set-up; a red wedding ring, tipped with a night crawler in 70' of water. 15ft down for the downriggers. We had our 2 person limit with-in 3 hrs. My son lost a few at the boat too. The biggest went 18 inches on the dot. The fishing was phenomenal today. It seemed like we had a bite every 5 to 10 min! About 6 of the 10 cutts had sea lice on them. Now they are in the brine soaking it up and will be smoked in the next few days! Yay Omega 3's!

I am going to have to try that lake someday. Congrats on the fish you and your son caught and the ones lost at the boat will just get bigger for next time.

Nice! I was out there in the am Sat and Sunday, but the bite was real slow.
Looks like I better not give up just yet.
Thanks for renewing my hope!
