Today I had the Pleasure of Taking Lewis Leonard( Known as Blufin Loui on washingtonlakes.com) out Laketrout Fishing here on Lake Chelan..All I can say is that it was absolutely by Far the most fish Producing Trip of the Year so Far..
We started right in the Heart of the Trench in the Lower Basin with a double..and I think we had 3 or 4 triples on during our 3.5 hrs out on the water ..We were both laughing at each other with the "Chinese Fire Drill" of trying to manage 4 Rods at 1 time...What a blast!!!! And Between the Johnny Jokes, Filling the cooler full and Mother nature cooperating, This is 1 of the most enjoyable catching trips I have been on in years and I am So glad that I could Share it with such a Kind Man..We ended the 3.5 hrs of fishing with 19 Laketrout... Total fish weighed 72lbs...and if we would have caught everything that bit we would have had 35+ fish..Incredible Fishing or Should I say Catching..Tight lines to all and be safe out on the water...
