Took my boys out on the lake today for the first time since srping. We fished between I-90 and North end of mercer island. picked up one smallish cutt, 14"er on a 3 1/2" coyote spoon, silver with blue / green spots. Tried the mini cutt plugs also and had one takedown off the DR. Good to try the lake again. I like fishing spoons without the flashers off the downriggers.

Missed you out there today. Around noon we ran to Groat Point and trolled to Maydenbauer Bay to get out of the north wind that was putting whitecaps on the lake. Only managed one small cutt ourselves even though we marked lots of bait in the area.

Yeah, it was a little sloppy out there and we stuck it out between 1-4. It calmed down nicely towards the end of the day but what bite there was seemed to die.
