I went to lake sawyer with a couple of buddies and we went to the other side of the boat launch in a cove I tossed out a green and black spinner towards the shore. after reeling I stopped to see a shadow and the next thing I know there was a big bass that had came up out under the logs and took my spinner. I was using 4lb test and when he took it it startled me a lot. I got him to the boat and reached down to pick him up and my fist went right in. I measured him at 20" and about 8-9 lbs. it was the funest fish I have ever caught. and the most startling thing I've ever encountered. time was about 12:30. If you go there have fun under the logs and hang on for the big ones.
