12/11/2010 5:42:00 PMchannel cats still bite during the winter they're just harder to entice. the best bet would be outta of a boat cause that lake actually has some depth to it and the deeper water is warmer this time of year. that's why you just gotta fish as deep as you can with something that's fresh an smelly (aka herring).

12/17/2010 12:01:00 PMokk so go to the boat launch and about 10 feet to the left cast as far as you can out but first from your swivel tie a 1 ounce sinker to the end with about a 2 ft leader then off the swivel put a 2.5 ft keader with a 1/0 hook with a few worms and so lunker lottion shrip on it and have fun i live right next to the lake been fishin that way since i was 8 i catch atleast one to two a night when i go i like to go now casue every one else is like it is to cold bulllllllll shiittttt
