When I showed up at the launch, I was sure it was THE day to fish. Weekday, warm weather = good fishing, right? Umm... maybe not always. Ended up catching one 2 lbs. LMB, saw one trout caught at the dock, and then not even a hit. Fished deep, shallow, plastics, hardware... Most of the fish were in at least 15' of water, holding 3'-15' down. Talked to a man who said judging by the dingy water, the lake was turning over, leaving the fish kind of in a shocked state. By next time, it will have to be typical winter tactics, unless it really warms up. Other than the two fish above, nothing except for the duck hunters. Will keep trying, though. Tight lines!
