Got on the lake at about 9am, headed for the island in the middle. Was using a #7 sized black rapala and my buddy was using the same thing except it was a countdown. I didn't catch a darn thing with my pala, but my buddy hammered 11 perch in about 15 minutes with the countdown. Sizes ranging from 8-10 inches. So, I switched to a bobber and worm. Only caught 2. Fished for the rest of the day, working the lilly pads and the docks. Didn't catch a darn thing. All in all, it was an ok day. Tried Heart lake, didn't catch anything. It was a beautiful day though.

Glad to here U caught something. Been wanting to get out and try for some trout. Did you happen to find how deep the thermocline was?

I have no idea. I was fishing from a dingy with no depth finder or anything. I think I'm going to fish it this weekend. I'll let you know how I do.
