Fished Tapps for a few hours on Saturday. Used BIG tubes and trolled...yes i trolled..really bad shoulder. Trolled with 12" Jakes and Grandma lures. No luck..marked lots of big fish off the big hump on the main lake and around the edge of Driftwood Point. Had a hot little 24" Tiger chase my swimbait in an inlet near Driftwood I actually bounced the bait off her nose on the turn of a figure 8.. and had a half hearted follow on my "half-dead" 12" tube by a healthy looking 40" tiger on the north point of Bankers Island..fished until dusk then beat-feeted it off the water. Water temp was 63-64 degrees and the water is gin clear..good to be on the water. And the lake water level is falling slowly..down about 6" inches or so. Still very fishable just watch out for the stumps they are just below the surface now..becareful out there..see ya on the water.
