Had the lake all to myself today. Water like glass with an occasional breeze. Found fish holding in the 30-40ft range. Used 4lb flouro with an ultra light rod. First fish of the day was around 20" pushing 3 1/2 lb's. Looked to be a native fish, no cliped fins. Spent a few hours fishing in the shadows of the trees. Picked up 3 trout and 2 bass in 4 hours. I didn't feel like having fish for dinner so released them all. My monster trout fought with me for about 5 mintues peeling line and spining my boat around in circles. I could barely get my hand around him or fit in the frame for a good picture. Had to leave early cause my inflatable started losing air. The boat launch is low and getting over the fallen trees is tricky. I had to zig zag through them but it was worth it. Good to be back on the water. Sky was clear with wind at 5mph NNW. water at 65 degrees.
