Last minute decision to hit the Lake Saturday AM. Didn't look at the weather forcast (other then the sunny part), and was suprised by the wind once I got to boat launch. WOW! It was blowing! Headed North with the wind, and Chased Cutts around 520. From about 9:00am till Noon I brought 7 nice Cutts to the boat. They are stacking up just a bit North of Kirkland. Yellow Chartuese Wedding ring, off the Down Rigger at various depths, depending where I was. Biggest was only about 19" tho ... I wish I had the Cannon "system" where you can program your Downrigger to ossicilate up and down every 5-10 minutes on it's own. Those Cutts seem to follow the wedding rings, and if I move the DR up about 10 feet or down, BAM .. I get a hit. Accidently drug a reall nice Kokenee to death (just about) .... Didn't even know it was on. I had dropped down to about 80' to chase some "targets" and at that depth, it's kinda hard to detect hit's. Tossed it to one of the Eagles cruising Hunts Point. The only downside, was my experience at the Mercer Island boat ramp when I was trying to get off the water around 1:00pm. WOW ... what a mess and Cluster !! :-(
