Rained all night long and was expecting a wet morning 4 hrs. of fishing, but right as I was leaving the house the rain quit and wind died down. Got to the launch and I was pleasantly surprised to see a flat calm Lake Chelan.
Picked my folks up at Darnell's Resort dock and had the first line in the water by 6:45 AM and before I could get all the lines out we had our first laketrout..Trolled Minneapolis Beach to pick up 6 laketrout and then made our way to Mack Bar to bang a couple more.
Caught 1 more on the down lake side of Mack Bar then proceeded to process our days catch then hooked up on a double while I was cleaning fish #8, so we ended the day with 11 laketrout in 4 hours..You have got to just love this fall weather!!!!
