I left vancouver at 430 am arrived at 630 sun up. No one on the lake, we put the toons in the water. as luck had it we had the lake to our selfs all morning. I was using a 5wt 9ft fly rig with a floating line 9 ct leader and tiny lead wt. I threw most of the morning brown caddis #10-12 with little luck. I moved spots to the middle of the lake and put a #10 bumble bee on landed a 8" rainbow. Water temp was 65 air about 68. The wind came up about 1030 , time to go plus the butts were numb. All in all awsome day worth the 2 hr drive from the couve.
