I got a bit of a late start yesterday. Got to Killarney Lake and started fishing about 9am. The fishing is getting tougher up there now. The weed beds are starting to deteriorate and the brown mung is building up on them. I was persistant at fishing them but only managed a couple of bites. The pike seem to be keying even more on wood structure. I fished from 9 am till about 7pm, and only released 2 pike, but missed three others. Nothing big, just good fighters. The crappie were a little more cooperative than the pike but they to were a little more scarce than normal. I released 3 nice fat 12"ers and a bunch of dinks. Maybe the weather we had the day before had something to do with it. I had to battle the wind all day. Sorry for the odd crappie photo, sometimes the old self timer photos don't exactly give you what you want. Happy Fishing
