I decided to fish the south side of the lake today. I fished from 9 am until 1 pm with my daughter Emma. Trolled from boat launch to SW of Mercer with 2 rods one at 40’ one at 70’ using mini squid and night crawlers with small UV dodgers. C&R: 1 sockeye (40’ down), 3 cutts (40’, 60’ 75’ down). Although, I used kokanee gear I did not hook any today. It was a slow day with one fish per hour and a lot of weeds floating on top of the water. My daughter wanted to fish for perch also, so we anchored in 25’ of water right in front of the Boeing building and caught some perch and a smallmouth that were released. I like to fish along the floating bridges this time of year; it produces more fish for me. Tight lines.
