Had a power outage at work yesterday so couldn't think of a better way to spend the afternoon then heading out fishing.
Got on Liberty at about 4pm and the water temps were around 70F for the northern shorelines. Pulled three good fish from under a dock using a senko, biggest went 3lb 13oz and can be seen in the picture. Fish were relating to the sunny side of the dock but only if there was structure in close proximity that could provide some reference/cover.
Headed to a steep rocky shoreline for some smallmouth fishing using a dropshot and got a couple more but only about 1lb each. Water temps were up a few degrees and I was hoping they'd be relating to the warm rocks but I didn't find any quality fish there.
Went back to the senko on docks and boated a few more but only one went over 2lbs.
All in all, put 9 fish in the boat so a pretty enjoyable day.
