Turned my attention from Crappie to the Perch and hammered on the hawgs, again with Don's Dandy Crappie Jigs. Caught a few LMB and Crappie as well but released all of them. Beautiful day on the lake. Klahowya!

Right on! I'm sure one of these days we'll meet up,this is certainly becoming a favorite lake of mine. We'll be back here very soon.

Nope! Richard Wellie invented the Beetle Spin in the early days of Ric Jig Tackle, (now Nortland Tackle) back in the late 70's, I know because I had a hand in the R&D on that one... This is my creation it is a Dons Dandy Crappie Spin Jig! And since I was Ric's official tackle tester and professional guide then I can say this definitely out performs the beetle spin as it has more motion and has more flutter hang time...

Where can a guy get a Don's dandy jig? I was up to Leland and caught a mess of perch and a few bluegills, I'd like to hit some crappies.

Swains General Store, IGS Supply, a few Mom and Pop shops here and there about the state, or direct.
