Richard Wellie invented the Beetle Spin in the early days of Ric Jig Tackle, (now Nortland Tackle) back in the late 70's, I know because I had a hand in the R&D on that one... This is my creation it is a Dons Dandy Crappie Spin Jig! And since I was Ric's official tackle tester and professional guide then I can say this definitely out performs the beetle spin as it has more motion and has more flutter hang time...
