Got on the water around 4:30pm, overcast with sprinkles. Tried trolling using wedding ring with worm and then with powerbait but no action. Went over to East side of lake and stopped at a rather deserted looking dock. Put a size 10 hook 3 feet from about 1/2 oz of weight, and baited it with a pale yellow powerbait, after 15 minutes the rod bent over and I knew it was not just a planter, but rather a nice healthy 2# rainbow. I know they planted 7k bows but none of the trips so it must have been a hold over. We also brought in a couple more planters with the small hooks and powerbait that seems to be what works right now.
