Holy Crap! I throw my worm out and start getting immediate action. I set the hook and think "wow, first trout didn't take that long...gonna be a good morning." Get it to the dock and it's not a trout...its a trout sized perch about 10". KEEPER!

Got hits almost every cast. If the rod tip didn't start bouncing in three minutes, I reeled it in and tried again. Caught two more keepers each one bigger than the last. The kid fishing along side of me caught this beauty. Roughly 14".

Great day to fish the north side of the lake.

thats the kinda perch that are worth keeping, I havnt fished silver lake in 10 years. i didnt evern know that they had perch in there,let alone that big

i was that kid with my dad and i also pulled up a 12' trout !
