Headed out to Liberty again last night, took a buddy of mine with me this time though. I just gotta say watching a tournament level angler dissect this water was a learning experience not just for me but even for the fish as well.
Started around 5pm and worked various structures and transitions. Water temps were in the 72-75F range and very stable throughout the sunny/slightly cloudy afternoon. Boated a total of 17 fish between the two of us including a few dinks, a perch, a sunfish, and a small trout. Big fish for the afternoon went 3lb 15oz for his largemouth and 3lb 3oz for my smallie, they can be seen in the photos.
With lots of people out enjoying the water last night on various boats and watercraft, we actually ended up taking a wave over the bow while fishing a shoreline.

Nice fish, well done. LOL, you got to love the boaters and the waves.

Ryan,
Turn on your lights and stay out there after dark. When there is a decent moon you can have some dynamite action on Liberty, and no "Pleasure Boaters" out there after dark!
Happy Fishing

Just remember that if you stay out after the launch is closed for the night, you are on the water all night (unless you live on the lake?). I know that vehicles are ticked, and locked inside, if you are there after I believe 10:00 PM.
