Went to shadow today for some bass fishing. I was skunked but my dad hooked into a nice largemouth, I have no idea how much it weighed but I would guess .5-1lb or so. This was his first bass in Washington so he was pretty pumped. He also hooked into a 7incherish that got off the hook at the boat. My dad was using a purple plastic worm with a green tail and I used all sorts of plastics and hard baits with no success. This a great day! One fairly interesting thing we noticed just before we left was what appeared to be an underwater fight with a fairly large fish that barely surfaced. Lots of noise and splashing and it looked like it must have been a large bass going after bait fish or something.
