Went out on Saturday morning to do some much needed fishing after a long week of work. Went to the resort to rent a boat and was out in the water by 8. Started off by trolling and that was all that i did the whole time i was there till noon...had to get ready for the M's game. Cought a bunch of perch trolling with a wedding ring with a small piece of worm on it. Cought a couple of trout with the weeding rings but nothing all that big, but all that was cought was released. If i wasnt going to the M's game i would had stayed out all day cause i wasnt going more then ten minutes without a hit. I may have cought more perch then anything it still was a get time getting out and enjoy some fishing. Picture below is a perch that hit me really hard to which i thought i had a nice fatty, however it was a perch who just happened to get hooked in a odd place lol. The weather was nice, it rained for a while & boy did it ever feel so good. This lake is turning out to be one of my favs and i have been hitting it more and more in the last couple of years.
