Went to Haller about 10:30 after reading elijah's report. I know shore access is extremely limited but gave it a go. There was already a couple there using power bait for trout, guess they had been there awhile without much luck. Already had a black rooster tail on so tipped it with a worm and flicked it out there. 3rd cast, fish on. They guy there was like "man, that was quick!". It fought pretty good and I landed my 1st ever largie, about 2lbs. I would have released it, but this guy really wanted it, so I gave it to him and he strung it up. Switched to senko then a spinner bait, which I lost in the tree while casting, Doh! Went back to the rooster and caught another smaller LM and finally a real nice perch, both released. Since it was cloudy and drizzly, it was good timing with no lake goer's, left around 1:00.
