Started at 4:15 and fished til 7:00. Did not do well yesterday only caught 4 small fish, thought maybe biggerr fish were feeding at night so I started before dark. Did not catch until first light. Caught 6 total 5 smallmouths and one largemouth all over 1 1/2lbs none over 3lbs. Lost a big fish that broke my line at the knot [my fault I did not back reel in time] all fish caught on lipless and senkos. In that I did not get a bite before first light I think I will sleep in a bit for a while. Fishin with rjn cajun in the AM and he tells me he and amx have decided to have a little derby. That is scary fishin against Mr Sawyer AMX.
