Had the pleasure of fishing Merwin this past Saturday.
This was Cascade Musky Association's Merwin club tourney. Started seeing fish within minutes
after blastoff. Had multiple follows on a variety of tackle including cranks,swims,bucktails and spinnerbaits. Got 2 tigers in the net. The first was a little 28 and the 2nd was a 37x14.Both fish
came on a large red spinnerbait. At day's end,a large column of smoke was visible nearby from
a forest fire,as I understand it,as of now...the blaze has not yet been brought under control.

well atleast there werent be much to burn looks like loggin took most of the trees on that ridge.

Thank you folks,certainly a great time out there and its a gorgeous lake. We saw tigers everywhere but the bite didn't pick up until
afternoon,they did the lazy follow thing all morning.
