Arrived at the lake on the 12th of July and fished through the morning of the 14th. Not a bad fishing considering the fact that I left our tackle box at home! Fortunately, we had our rods rigged for Kokanee and we were ready to fish with what we had. We fished with really mushy (old) shoepeg corn and worms.
I wouldn't call our fishing spectacular, but given our handicap with the tackle box, I think we did very well. We landed several in the 14-16 inch range. The reports from fellow fisher people was that the fish were being caught near the surface as well as down deep! They were all over the place according to our fish finder. We chose to fish with 1 1/2 ounces of weight.
Lot's of fish caught by several people. Fun lake and the weather was great.
